Minna Pöllänen (she/her) is a London-based visual artist, PhD researcher at the Royal College of Art, and a Senior Lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts. Pöllänen’s practice, which is positioned in the field of expanded sculpture, explores body’s relationship to technology, labour, care and disobedience, often through tactile encounters.

Pöllänen is a recipient of Kone Foundation PhD research grant in visual arts in 2025. Her work has recently been shown at: Beaconsfield Gallery, London (2024); Copeland Gallery London (2023); Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York (2022); Hanaholmen Gallery (2022), Helsinki and CFEVA, Philadelphia (2019).
